Wenn ein Tier im Isabella County leidet, eilt Dr. Pol unverzüglich herbei und hilft. Auch an diesem Tag hat der Veterinär viel zu tun: Ein extrem dickes Schwein, ein verletztes Pferd und eine Katze mit Schnittwunde warten auf ihre Behandlungen. Derweil hat Dr. Pols Sohn ganz andere Probleme: Er möchte eine Jukebox ins Haus am See schmuggeln, denn es steht eine Geburtstagsfeier auf dem Programm.
