Facing Waves

Three times the size of Texas and the largest province in Canada, Quebec is a big place. It's also blessed with 3% of the world's freshwater, more than half a million lakes and has the enormous St. Lawrence River flowing through its interior, which empties the Great Lakes into the Atlantic Ocean. Breathtaking coastlines, crystal clear rivers and pristine wilderness lakes. This week on facing waves, we're exploring the regions of Gaspesie and Bas-Saint-Laurent.
