In New York ermittelt das FBI im Fall einer ermordeten Frau im Park. Der Täter, Daryl Ricklan, ein Anhänger des Serienkillers Distefano, hat seine Tat vorher angekündigt. Agent Maggie nutzt Distefanos Faszination für sie, um Ricklan zu fassen, was jedoch ihren Ruf gefährdet. Das Team verhindert weitere Morde und stellt Ricklan, doch Maggie muss nun mit Distefanos Groll rechnen.
