As kiteboarding becomes more popular and accessible to the masses, the hopes of many turn towards the Olympic Games. Although shaken, the spirit of the kiteboarders and their steadfast refusal to be defeated is rewarded with a vote of inclusion for the Youth Games in 2018 for the very first time. Yet again the Olympic dreams of the kiteboarders are on the line as the sport comes up for consideration for the Tokyo Games 2020.
