Plötzlich taucht ein mysteriöses Daedalus-Duplikat im Orbit über Atlantis auf. Sheppard (Joe Flanigan), McKay (David Hewlett), Teyla (Rachel Luttrell) und Ronon (Jason Momoa) fliegen mit einem Jumper an Bord, um das Schiff zu inspizieren. Als sie ankommen, wartet eine ominöse Videobotschaft auf sie. Doch bevor sie sich ein Bild machen können, werden sie mit dem Schiff in eine zweite Realität transportiert.
